The machined black plates, among Troy's finest, are attached with tough, industrial-grade steel bolts that are bigger and stronger than other leading brands. The straight handle features deep-set knurling for a superior grip, and the chrome end caps are printed with the Troy logo and weight number. The 10-year warranty against breakage does not cover rust, bent handles, loosening, or chipped paint.
