The elephants were different in color and the bases were different products and color with a white mark going down the side of the base. The whole product was very cheaply made. One elephant was not even sitting all the way on the base.

Even though these bookends are short, they are very sturdy. We have 2 large, thick Cabela's books & some shorter books that are held up by these bookends & never have a problem. They are mainly held up by the base of the bookends. One elephant doesn't even touch the books. The tip of the other elephant's ear touches a book.
