We use it in the back yard for shade. It can be put up by one person but it would be easier with 2. This Pop-up is made very well. We love that the side curtains can be pushed all the way to each corner and secured there and then zippered up all the way around if you like. I love the way they installed the curtains on the separate wires. Ingenious. Oh, the curtains are very well made also, they have a silver lining, and they are not flimsy little things. We just got it and we love it already. Very adaptable.
