This high quality, well built solid brass instrument will not disappoint you if you expect accurate results! After unpacking and reading the setup process, I logged into our local National Weather Service website and after about 3 settings over a period of 3 days I am able to duplicate consistently their pressure readings. I am about 17 miles and 110 feet higher, so a very small offset was applied (less than 1/2 millibar).
