I purchased this desk set because I was in dire need of file drawer space, but I didn't want the look of office file cabinets in my bedroom! The slim design works great. Assembly was tedious, which is why I went with 4 stars instead of 5.

Pros: This desk comes in 3 pieces - a 2 drawer filing cabinet, a 3 drawer cabinet (bottom files, and 2 drawers), and the desk top. Also came with 2 options for handles, which was nice, as I went with the other option which was a simple straight stainless steel bar. The price was a definite plus, and that we had free overnight shipping by FedEx. Worth having to assemble it myself, which was fairly simple and straightforward.
Cons: The model I got was missing 2 pre-drilled holes. For me, that wasn't too much of an issue as I just got out my cordless drill and put them in myself. The desk top also had a small nick on the corner, which was easily covered by a stain pen I had handy. All in all, that's the reason I gave this a 3 instead of a 4. Without those blemishes, the 4 would have been because I wished the big drawers for files had sides that were all of one piece. That way you could easily use the full drawer for misc stuff if you didn't want to use it for hanging files. But again, something that can be an easy DIY fix.
