I've always been opposed to gas grills mostly due to uneven heat. I finally broke down because we love grilling but with busy family schedules waiting for charcoal made it inconvenient.

You get what you pay for with this grill - solid construction, even heat, easy clean up, lighted controls. In my opinion the most complete set of features for the price. If I have any criticism is would be the igniter is plastic and clearly wont last as long as the rest of the grill and the thermometer in the hood seems to read hotter than it really is. Assembly took about 90-minutes and while instructions were provided, part numbers did not match the equipment so some interpretation was required. Regardless all of the components were there. Only four stars due to those minor details. Based on reasearch and reviews of other manufacturers, I would definitely purchase again.

Assembly was an adventure because it arrived without instructions. Also no user's manual. We did contact Grill's Direct and they emailed both. Quality seems great. Wonderful results.
Wished it had actually been made in USA.

I was not use to cooking on an efficient grill, so this grill took a little getting use to. It cooks evenly & efficiently. I'm still getting use to using the thermometer gauge since it was broken on my last grill. I find myself looking to prepare all my meals on this grill. The only draw back I felt was for the price they should have included a cover to protect your investment. Otherwise, I would highly recommend this grill.
