It is slightly sturdier than tin foil. Incredibly flimsy and once it is out of balance/shape, just throw it away. It didn't make it through the summer and that just because I refused to give up and toss it! Don't ask for the disappointment.

I enjoy this whirly in my raised bed garden. I purchased all 3 designs in the large size and they are all great. Of the 3, this one takes the strongest wind to make it whirl so it's not real sensitive but does whirl nicely with a good breeze. The stainless steel should hold up for many years.

I tapped a small pipe into the ground that solved the problem of not turning into the wind. Blades aren't as strong as they appear.
