The Vinotemp VT-21TEDS 2 Zone 21 Bottle Wine Cooler is an energy-efficient cooler with dual temperature zones. You can program the perfect temperature for red and white wines. This cooler's thermo-electric cooling system has very few moving parts, which means your wine will be protected from unnecessary vibration.
Thermo-electric cooling is favorable for your valuable wine collection as well as the environment. Since this wine cooler uses absolutely no ozone depleting chemicals such as CFCs or HCFCs, you'll be making a responsible decision with regard to to the environment.
The VT-21 features dual-paned glass windows, an efficiency innovation that has been proven in the construction industry. They have better insulation properties, better UV protection, and are easier to clean. This energy-efficiency will lead to less electricity usage and savings in energy bills throughout the years.
This cooler features a black cabinet with stainless steel door trim and handle and sturdy wood shelf racking for individual bottle storage.
Note: Dual Zone wine coolers are designed to store two different types of wines at their optimum temperatures, as they have two independent cooling zones that can be set to separate temperatures.

First off. I was damaged... and not by the shipper. Secondly, it is not the same unit which is pictured. I expected to be able to fit three bottles on each shelf. Only two fit, making this not a 21 bottle cooler but a 14 bottle cooler. Also, while the unit picture shows two shelves in the upper temp zone and the rest in the lower, there are three on top and 4 on the bottom. Thus I am not able to keep as many reds in the lower zone as I wanted. I'm definately not satisfied with my purchase and am hoping I can get some resolution.
Service and delivery comments:
My product was delivered on time, nice. But when opened, as a gift a week later, we found it was pretty severly damaged on a back corner. This damage was definately produced while preparing to ship and not during shipping. Unfortunatly, the damage was not seen until the box had been ripped appart, so I'm not yet sure if we are going to be able to exchange it for one that had not been damaged. sucks!

I love the look of this wine frig....but very disappointed in the quality of the shelving. The shelving does not stay alined in the frig, very difficult to get bottles in and out...

I was really excited to get the Vinotemp because it is attractive and the perfect fit for the kitchen to replace where my trash compactor was. However, it puts out a lot of heat and it takes a long time to set the temperature. I like white wine, and the upper part of the fridge is smaller for the lowest temperature and the lower part has the most space for red wine. I also wanted to store beer, water and sodas. It really doesn't get ice cold. However, if you are a red wine drinker, it may work for you. It is quiet, and it is attractive. So there you go - lukewarm review.

Wanted for under bar. Difficult to build in because of heat, hinges. Door needs to open too wide for space. Overall big expensive disappointment
