This item was pictured as being squared off -I received a dowel. there wasn't much "crafted" about it. I was also told by the sales rep that the chicken coop I purchased did not come with a roost -it did. This one didn't fit anyway. When I speak with a sales rep I expect them to give me accurate information.

I purchased the Deluxe Chicken Coop and it is cute but for that kind of money I expected better. The instructions were hard to understand and I was told that since it did not come with a roost that I would need to order one and the only one available is the Chick-N-Roost by Ware, so I got that too. Now that the coop is built (the nestbox roof was split and had to be glued and modified to fit), I find that the roost bar will not fit this coop, so I wanted to return it to Hayneedle but it looks like at my own expense. Maybe I'll keep it, it might make a good weapon of some kind.
