Comments about Ware Red TownHouse:
I put a couple of boards in there so my bunny could get off the wire floor. It is a little harder to clean, but I'm not a fan of wire floors. I'm glad the wire is coated in plastic, though.

Comments about Ware Red TownHouse:
I bought this hatch for Elvis, my pne year old Rex rabbit. He has overgrown his starter cage so I looked for alternatives. The pictures of the townhouse online looked great and attractive. Putting it together was very easy. All you need is a phillips screw driver. For the amount of money I paid for it I was disappointed with the quality of the materials used. Though the lumber was lightly stained it chips off easily. The wire mesh flooring needs to be redesigned. My rabbit is bigger than an average cat but his paws sinks in the gaps that limits his mobility. I had to line it with corrugated cardboard from its packaging to allow Elvis to move around without hurting his paws. The height of the ceiling both on the upper and lower needs redesign as well. Rabbits like to stand up and Elvis' starter cage even has a taller ceiling that he can stand up fully stretched. The townhouse's ceiling encourages rabbits to be hunchbacks. I had to open the roof to allow Elvis to stretch standing up every now and then. The hole on the second floor to the ladder is too narrow that I had to improvise by snipping wider and deeper so as not to hurt Elvis.
So I have given this product a mediocre rating. Until the manufacturer redesigns the townhouse to correct the the above deficiencies, it would deserve a five star rating for sure but not at this time.

The Townhouse Rabbit hutch is a wonderful addition to our home. Our young rabbit loves running up and down the ramp and uses both floors. It's roomy enough for two, and easy to clear. [...]

Comments about Ware Red TownHouse:
I own two rabbits they are living in the hutch, but only on the first floor at the moment. The ramps have no pegs so for their little clawed feet it's not easy to maneuver. It's a need improvement that I will make myself, it would have been nice to be included.
I was disappointed by the crack in one portion of the right side panel. It's such a bulky shipping item I opted to fix it myself instead of sending it back.
It's a positive change for my rabbits and even with those complaints I am glad I have more space.

Comments about Ware Red TownHouse:
this hutch is fine, BUT, do NOT leave rabbits on a wire floor! Unlike cats, they do not have pads on their paws - only fur. Very, very bad for them to be on wire all the time - you must put down plywood, or a pad, or something so they aren't walking on wire. I'm a bit surprised that this is not noted someplace in the description of the hutch - it is an absolute no-no to keep them on wire all the time. And, poo (especially overnight poo) will stick to the wire, making it impossible to keep clean. Much easier to litter box train the rabbits. Would only recommend this hutch with this caveat.
