This is our second unit. The first one was purchased in 2009. We love it. We like the color that makes the cabinet look rich in quality and it matches our audio unit. This unit matched to the T of the one that we bought 4 years ago. It will hold DVD, Blue Rays Disks, VHS Tapes and the old cassettes. It take very little floor space against the wall in our home theater room. When assembling the unit, look at the pictures very carefully. If you don't you will notice the problem towards the end of assembly. Should take 30 min or so to put it together. It may hold a paperback books...., but I recommend you use it for your video library

The directions were incorrect, even the diagram did not match the actual pieces. The "veneer" is very thin and chips off easily. The DEPTH is so narrow that a hardback book cannot fit and still be able to close the doors ... it truly is made for CD's only.

The box was not damaged at all but the bottom of the unit was cracked and damaged and the top of the unit was bubbling. The back piece had a huge seam that was visible throughout the whole thing. Looked terrible. Very poor quality.

This is a nice looking unit however it is not nearly the $250 price tag. There is a slice in the top there are sratches and nicks all over. The bottom and top shelves are not adjustable and only give you 5" of height. Assembly stickers difficut to remove & when I tried an adhesive remover, the stain came off. I would expect this from a $60 - 70 unit. I will not buy from this manufacturer again
