About Cedar Wood
Cedar wood is lightweight and resistant to both cracking and moisture rot. The oils of this resilient wood guard against insect attack and decay, and their distinctive aroma acts as a mild insect repellant. Cedar is a dependable choice for outdoor furniture, either as a finished or unfinished wood. Over time, unfinished cedar left outdoors will weather to a silvery gray patina. This natural process does not compromise the strength or integrity of the wood.
Another great aspect of cedar is its environmental effect - which is minimal. A renewable resource, cedar wood emits low greenhouse gases. So rest assured knowing that your beautiful cedar furniture is a green choice, too!

This product took a long time to assemble. And four short pieces that were made to 'cover' the bottom of the legs are all the wrong size, some are too short, others, too long, so we are unable to assemble that part of the potting bench.

The materials were average, at best. Much of it was splintered or split. The saw cuts weren't very accurate, or even straight. Assembly was tricky because of this, and the final product was pretty underwhelming.
The drawer turned out more crooked than a politician.
The soil bin was small given the size of the bench and it's thin and cheap.
I used Gorilla glue for assembly. I think this is very important because when I dry fitted the bench it was kinda flimsy.
All in all, it's not the worst I've seen, but you can definately do better for the price.

Service and delivery comments:
I have nothing but good to say about the process so far. The product was delivered before and received before the ship date. What more could I have asked for at a time like this (Christmas).

Comments about Cedar Wood Windsor Potting Bench:
I use it as an island in my kitchen for pot storage. The size is exactly what I need as there is insufficient counter space in the kitchen. Assembly was difficult - the directions could have been clearer. I have assembled entertainment units, desks, island carts, bookcases but none gave me the problems this table did. The predrilled holes were inaccurately placed and the wood is so soft it split. Indeed, some of it was already split when I received it. This is a problem of the manufacturer [...]

Comments about Cedar Wood Windsor Potting Bench:
I'm sorry to say that I am not very satisfied with the bench. The ends of the parts were splintered and I had to stop constantly and remove splinters from my finger tips. Some of the ends were not cut straight and required repair before the legs would even fit. For the price, I expected more quality control! I'm a mid-range to high-end shopper!

Comments about Cedar Wood Windsor Potting Bench:
My wife loves the design and uses potting bench to store all of her gardening tools and potting soil. She used to use various locations for her gardening work, now it is consolidated in one area.
