My wife and I were looking for a coffee table like this with the natural wood and the metal frame for our new home. The cheapest we were finding were easily twice to 3 times this price. I found this one and showed it to my wife and she fell in love with it and the price made it that much more lovable. We were skeptical with reading reviews about hayneedle.com but for that price we took the gamble. I am so happy we did, the package arrived on time with no damage it took me about 15 min. to put together. Also with free shipping we can spend the saved money on other new home items, we couldn't be happier with our purchase.

First, the wood does not match the wood on the Townsend end table.
Second, you can tell where part of the table is just putty, sanded down and stained.
Third, like other reviewers said, the table legs do not fit together nicely, so you end up with a table where all the legs do not connect as a right angle on the floor.
The only reason I'm keeping it is that it was on sale when I bought it and too much trouble to send back. I'll most likely sell these in a garage sale and get nicer ones later on.

Very happy with this purchase. The instruction sheet, which was simply a sketched illustration without text,could be improved. As far as weight, I don't know what its limitations might be as we've only just assembled and set it up, but it seems to be quite sturdy. Obviously not a top-end piece, but obviously not meant to be, and is right at home with the rest of our furnishings! Great value, especially when the pretty much identical table sells on other sites for considerably more. Photos pretty accurate reflecton of actual product.

Love the look of this coffee table, but it was not the easiest to put together. We had a hard time lining all the pieces up so that it would fit together. Part of the frame is still a little askew, but for the price it's still a good buy. Most "wooden" coffee tables at this price are not wood and look much cheaper. And similar to my other purchases from hayneedle I was impressed by how quickly it came!

The brackets on the Townsend Coffee table do NOT line up with the holes for the screws. It is a pain to assemble and the frame is very wobbly. I would not recommend this product.

We really love this table! It is great and very nice looking. I hate cheap looking stuff with fake wood, the top seems to be real wood. Most furniture is so ordinary looking, it all usually looks the same, but this table doesn't. I have been looking at tables like this at my favorite place, west elm, but they are too expensive for me, then I found this one. It worked out great! Assembly is also super easy, I set it up in less than 5 minutes.
