The great works of Italian composer Giuseppe Verdi are the poignant notes played by the Wind Chimes of Tuscany. On each wind catcher is a picturesque, wood-burned, "grapes" image. Each chime features 9 matte burgundy tubes. Tuned to C, E, A, G, F, A, E, D, and C.
Woodstock Percussion Wind Chimes are tuned using a computerized tuning process in order to achieve incomparably beautiful sound. These wind chimes also use a unique tuning system known as just intonation. The frequencies at which the different tubes vibrate are integrally related, thus producing the purest musical intervals. Once you hear the beautiful tones created by these magical chimes, you will understand why they are so popular around the world.
Wind Chime Length: The length of a wind chime is measured by the overall length of the chime (not tube length) - hanging hook to the end of the sail. This wind chime is 27 inches long overall.

Dear friends,
thank you very much for the present and the lovely card! You cannot imagine the surprise when I have received it! M loves it as well! We need to find a suitable place where to put the chimes, they sound very special. We have a large garden/courtyard and no doubt we'll find the right location. Can you tell the artisan that his work is now in Italy and that we love it?
I am sending you a few photos of our house here in Bologna, and a picture of M and I, which we took at the seaside last summer.
I hope to see you again some time, either in Italy or in the States, who knows? M would love to visit New York, so we may come and see you if we get round to organising a trip there!

This is the most beautiful sounding wind chime that I've ever heard. The chimes are delicate, clear, and activated with only a small breeze. I love sitting on my deck and listening to it. It almost appears to play a familiar song.
