How to Hang Your Chime For the Best Musical PerformanceCare
Every part of a Woodstock Chime is weather protected. Over time, however, those layers of protection can begin to wear. To enjoy your Woodstock Chimes for years to come, we suggest the following simple maintenance tips. Periodically, apply a thin layer of Danish or lemon oil with a clean cloth to the hardwood parts. Regular oiling will help protect the wood and retard the natural aging process. The tubes of traditional Woodstock Chimes are made of anodized aluminum that will not rust when exposed to the elements. However, over time, the aluminum may show pitting as a result of environmental factors. Please note this will not affect the beautiful tones of your chimes. Use mild soap and water (or a foaming, non-abrasive cleanser) to clean the tubes, glass or plastic parts. Try not to dampen the string.

This was to be a Mother's Day present for my lovely wife, who adores the serenity of chimes. These were truly a nice and inexpensive gift. The morning started with not a bit of wind as we sat there on the porch, sipping coffee and enjoying the sunrise. Then, from trees far away, I saw branches start to slowly wave as the suns heat generated wind. The breeze approached slowly through the ally of trees until it came upon us. Both she and I stared at the collection of chimes we own, concentrating on the newly hung Westminster. To say we were eager to hear these in action is an understatement. Then, the first to let loose was the Westminster! It was very pleasing to us to hear the beautiful tones. Made for a wonderful morning indeed! (The only down side is that I had ordered the chrome set. These are very reflective and if prone to migraine triggering, it would suit you to opt for another color.)

This has a beautiful set of tones to it. It came right on time and was well packaged in case of rough handling. It was in excellent condition.
