The Woody Creek Twin over Twin Bunk Bed with Stairs gives your child's bedroom generous sleep and storage space without taking up excess floor space. This unique stairway loft set is ideal for sleepovers or siblings sharing a room, and it maximizes precious floor space. Constructed of solid pine, this loft has a warm caramel stain and protective lacquer finish that will enhance any bedroom decor. Carved trim details enhance the bunk bed's country-casual style.
The unit features twin-size beds on the top and bottom, and a four-step staircase leads safely to the top bunk. At the end of the bed, five spacious drawers provide storage for clothing, toys, and other items you want to keep from under foot, and with the optional, 2-drawer large under-bed drawers offer even more storage. This bunk bed unit is a great addition to any kid's bedroom or dorm room. Stairs are not interchangeable on both ends and due to design, can only be placed as the image shows.

We are very pleased with this bunk bed set. I was a bit leary about ordering furniture online, but am so glad we did! Even though the instructions were pretty much useless, my husband had the entire thing put together by himself in less than two hours - and he wasn't even in a bad mood when he finished!! The bed is rock solid and the kids are sleeping quite comfortably in their new beds.
Just a note - if you are using true twin mattresses (as opposed to bunk bed mattresses) the guard rails will not be tall enough to cover mattress and child. We wanted to keep real mattresses on the bed for comfort's sake and therefore made some adjustments to the guard rails so they would work with our mattress. Also, when using thick mattresses, be aware that the amount of headroom on the bottom bunk is going to be limited, but nothing we can't live with. That's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.

Hayneedle's twin over twin is a solid wood piece that is well constructed. The stairway comes in one piece, so plan to have two people to move it. It looks great, and our 9 year old totally loves it.
