First off, this item comes fully assembled. This information was not readily available in the description of the product on the website, but I was thrilled I didn't have to put this piece of furniture together. However, with that said, the assembly of the drawer slides was faulty and there was no way to fix it so the item had to be returned.

I don't actually own this item yet. I ordered it, it was delivered and it was damaged and incorrectly assembled. However, the quality of the product is excellent. It's a nice-looking, sturdy piece of furniture. I was happily surprised at the quality. This product weighs nearly 80 pounds. There is nothing flimsy or cheap-looking about this item.

Because the cabinet I received was damaged AND incorrectly assembled, I had to return the item, which I thought was going to be a disaster with such a large and heavy product. It was NOT! The customer service people I dealt with (and there were about 5 or 6 of them over a period of two weeks) were extremely helpful and really made the entire returning process a breeze. They provided me with a prepaid FedEx label because the issues with the product were not my fault so all return shipping charges were paid by Hayneedle. All I had to do was re-package the item and schedule a pick-up with FedEx. The customer service people at Hayneedle walked me through the entire process and yesterday (less than a week since the item was picked up by FedEx) I just received an email saying my return was received and I would see a credit on my Visa within a couple days. I truly believe all of the damage to the cabinet and its faulty assembly all go back to the manufacturer and are, in no way, a reflection of Hayneedle or their products.

As for the product itself, I am going to re-order the same file cabinet because I liked it that much. I'm nervous about it and really really hope the first item I received was a fluke. I loved the look and feel of the cabinet! I will be extremely bummed out if my new cabinet is damaged and/or assembled incorrectly the same way the first one was because this will be the last Wynwood Storehouse Soho Flex Printer Cabinet I order from Hayneedle or anyone else.
