For hands-free night vision, try the Yukon NVMT 1x24 Night Vision Goggle. Its NVMT 1 x 24 monocular gives you clear vision. Its small monocle is attached to the headgear in such a way as to allow you to flip it up when not in use and is designed to be used with your right eye only (not interchangeable). The monocle can be attached to a rifle for use as a riflescope and is water- and fog-resistant.
Description
The NVMT 1x24 Head Gear Kit™ incorporates the exciting element of hands-free night vision with the quality and value of a 1x24 monocular. The NVMT 1x24 monocular uses no magnification so that users can see a clear image with no distortion or change in depth perception. The small, compact monocular is secured to the head gear by a mounting system that sits easily on the front head strap so that the NVMT can be flipped up when not in use or flipped down when activated; the NVMT head gear is designed to be used with your right eye only and can not be interchanged for the left. The 1x24 also features separately activated Pulse™ system IR illuminator that uses a pulsating infrared beam to enhance night vision viewing capabilities. A simple detaching mechanism allows the monocular to be taken off the mount for hand-held use. Additional accessories for the NVMT 1x24 are the NVMT IR Flashlight, Riflescope Conversion Kit and Digital Camera Adapter. The NVMT Goggle 1x24 is backed by Yukon’s Limited Lifetime Warranty.

This product is entry level first generation night vision. Expecting it to perform like the latest third generation sets is unfair and unrealistic. You get what you pay for, and with this unit you get a functional, rugged set that is best suited for spotting and identifying things within 100 meters. The field of view is very narrow, so if you're new to night vision, do not expect it to focus on things in the peripheral or outside your forward sixty degrees, because you'll be blind. Get used to scanning often and you'll be fine. Without using the built in IR illuminator, the natural eye is better at night, so if you think this product will turn you into a spec ops nighttime warrior, think again. It takes common sense and experience to get the most out of this set.

yukon nvmt 1x24 great product for the money and does what I need it to very clear image up to 75 to 100 feet on a open field with the ir on you can see images as far as 300 feet well, great for a gen 1 product and if you need visablity for longer distance buy the yukon ir flashlight accessory. The only thing you'll need to work with is the focusing as your sight distance changes but outside of that it's a great deal.
