Although the optical quality was good I was rather diasappointed that at the widest adjustment the eyepieces are to close together for me or my wife. Also, the extendable handle would be a nice feature if it would lock in place in an the extended position. If it does we could not determine how.

The focus adjust works for both eyes. If your eyesight is not the same in both eyes, you cannot adjust each eye piece separately.
