I bought this desk as an upgrade desk for my son's 23rd birthday. He is completing his bachelor's degree and was in need of a desk with more writing space and a shelf to hold essential supplies. We went to many stores in Orange County, California and could not locate the perfect desk. We also spent a substantial amount of time on the Internet seeking the perfect desk. The Z Small Desk is EXCELLENT in every way!! It fits in my son's room perfectly and he is comfortably doing homework right now. I would highly recommend this desk because of the handsome shape and smooth tempered glass surface. I believe this desk will last for many years to come.
