the harness was useful but you can rig one yourself. the rest of the anchor connector isn't needed unless the water is deep.

We own a large trampoline in our back so we thought this would be perfect for the river. It was easy to blow up and put together, about 15 minutes and it was done. It was easy to anchor like we anchor the boat. The kids love laying on and used as giant float far from us parents, which was nice. The slide works only with tons of water being poured on it. The landing is fine. The younger kids tried to bounce on it so did the older kids, really has no spring at all, it folds in on itself when the older kids tried to bounce. Take down was easy removing the air went fast, we laid it out to dry. We are going to get a special bag with small holes in it to store so it stays dry and protected. Overall the kids had fun, would have been perfect had you been able to bounce.
