Hayneedle has partnered with Mulberry, a modern e-commerce technology, to provide plans that enable you to extend the lifetime of your products and protect against accidental damage. This plan becomes available when you purchase eligible products on hayneedle.com.
How to purchase a Mulberry Protection Plan?
Look for Mulberry Protection Plans while shopping for that perfect item. The plans are available on the product pages and the cart page for eligible items.
How do I know if the product I am purchasing is eligible for a Mulberry plan?
Not all products will be eligible for Mulberry Protection Plan - both product category and price point drive eligibility. Determining eligibility while you are shopping is very easy - if you are viewing the product page and the option to add a Mulberry plan is listed, it is eligible. If there is no option to add a plan, it is not yet eligible for a protection plan. How much do Mulberry Protection Plans cost?
Pricing varies depending on the product you choose and the length of coverage. Tax will also be included in the purchase of your plan.
What happens after you have purchased your protection plan?
Once you purchase a Mulberry plan, you will receive a welcome email from Mulberry that includes the details of the protection plan and an activation link; the activation link will be good for one month from the time of purchase. Once you have activated your protection plan, you will need to create an account with Mulberry. From there, you will be able to review your coverage details, file claims, and transfer your plan.
What happens if the activation link expires?

When does the protection start?
The protection plan automatically begins the date of delivery. If the start date on your Mulberry account is different than when you received the product, please reach out to Mulberry and they will adjust the date on your protection plan.
When does coverage begin?
Coverage begins the date of delivery but does not include defects in materials and workmanship until after 30 days of delivery. Hayneedle will handle any defect or damage caused by shipping or pre-shipping issues within the first 30 days of delivery. If there is a manufacturer warranty, Hayneedle will provide you with that information to make a claim directly with the manufacturer. After 30 days from delivery, you may start your claim process with Mulberry.
How to file a claim with Mulberry?
You can file claims online via getmulberry.com by uploading the following information regarding your claim:
• Incident Date
• Photos of the damage or issue
• Description of incident
What happens after your claim is approved?
If Mulberry has determined that the damage requires repair, Mulberry will work with you to coordinate a repair, or they will mail you a repair or cleaning kit. Mulberry will repair the product up to the original retail price of the product, minus any prior claims costs already incurred.
If a repair technician determines that the damage is unable to be repaired, Mulberry will replace your product or initiate a cash settlement.
If Mulberry determines that the damage requires replacement, Mulberry will replace the product or will offer a cash settlement (minus any claims costs already incurred).
Is there a limit to how many times a customer can file a claim?
The limit on the coverage is up to the original retail price of the product or up to one replacement (or cash settlement).
Can I file a claim if the plan is not in my name?
While customers will need to file claims tied to plans under their respective accounts, the Mulberry Protection Plan is easily transferable! To transfer a plan, the protection holder simply needs to follow the instructions below:
Log in to your dedicated account at getmulberry.com/login
• Click on the warranty you are looking to transfer
• Scroll down and click to "Transfer"
• Enter the following recipient information:
• First & last names
• Email address
• Physical address
• Phone number
• Click “Review Warranty Transfer” & review the recipient’s information
• Click “Transfer Warranty” (you will then receive an email from Mulberry, notifying you that the warranty has been transferred to your name & enabling you to access your Mulberry customer account)
Common Coverage questions:
What happens if I move to another city or state; does that affect the coverage?
No! Coverage continues even if you move (within the United States). You can edit your address directly via your Mulberry Customer Account.
What if I try to repair the product myself; does that affect my coverage?
Damage resulting from unauthorized repair can void your coverage. You should file a claim with Mulberry as soon as a covered incident occurs.
Can I renew my Mulberry Protection Plan after the plan period?
Once your plan has expired, it cannot be renewed.
