Recall Summary: Recall number 18-114. Recall date: March 6, 2018: This recall involves Mosquito Magnet traps and Quick Clear Cartridge kits. The traps are designed to attract and capture mosquitos and other insects into the vacuum, where they dehydrate and die. The traps connect to a 20 gallon propane tank and measure about 30 to 35 inches tall. They were sold in green or green/gray combination with a black and green plastic stand. “Mosquito Magnet” is printed on the top front of the units. The model name, model number and serial number are printed on the back of the traps. The traps use Woodstream’s Quick Clear Cartridge kits to clean out the nozzle after changing propane tanks.

Name of Products: The affected model numbers sold through Hayneedle are:

The model name, model number and serial number are printed on the back of the traps. These were sold from December of 2014 through December 2016.

Hazard: The recalled mosquito traps can become damaged if cleaning it while powered on with the company’s Quick Clear Cartridge kits and can propel broken pieces of the regulator, posing an injury hazard to consumers.

Recall Summary: Recall number 18-103. Recall date: Feb. 20, 2018: This recall involves KitchenAid 1.7 Liter Electric Kettles. The kettles were sold in stainless steel, red, black, white, liquid graphite and cocoa silver, and were sold from September 2013 through February 2018 for about $100 to $120. Model numbers and serial numbers are located on the bottom of the kettle. KitchenAid is written on the front of the kettles. A complete list of model and serial numbers included in this recall is posted on the firm’s website at http://repair.whirlpool.com.

Name of Products: The affected model numbers sold through Hayneedle are:
KITC137, 138, 139, 140.(KitchenAid model #KEK1722SX, ER, OB, WH, QG, CS, and RKEK1722SX, ER, OB, WH, QG, CS.Serial numbers YA325XXXXX through YA724XXXXX.

The model and serial numbers are located on the bottom of the kettles.

Purchase dates: September 2013 through February 2018.

Hazard: The handle can loosen and separate from the kettle, causing hot contents to spill, posing a burn hazard. Whirlpool Corporation has received 79 reports in the U.S. (19 in Canada) of handles separating, including three reports in the US (one in Canada) of minor burn injuries.

Remedy: Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled kettles and contact Whirlpool for a free replacement.

This recall involves Polston and Collin models of swivel backless bar stools. The Polston bar stools have a tan seat cushion and metal base with four legs and were sold in a mocha color. They were sold in two sizes: counter height at 26 inches tall and bar height at 30 inches tall. The Collin bar stools have a wooden seat and metal base with four legs and were sold in two colors: mocha and white. They were sold in bar height at 30 inches tall. The model number is printed on the packaging and in the assembly instructions.

Hazard: Problems have been reported related to the motor located in the base of certain 7-ft. tree models. These problems have been identified as a shortage in the adapter that is included with the tree. The same adapters are used in the 5 ft. and 6 ft. models.

Consumers should immediately stop using and unplug the recalled Christmas trees and contact Hayneedle (888) 880-4884 for a full refund. Hayneedle is contacting consumers directly.

Hazard: It appears that over time, the corner connecting arm of the mattress support could break allowing that corner to drop, causing an uneven sleeping surface. The firm has received 15 reports of such detachments but no resulting injuries. However, because serious injury or asphyxiation from entrapments or the position of a child who rolls into the corner could occur in a worst case scenario, we are conducting this safety recall. The expanded recall includes the same model numbers, but adds more serial numbers.

Remedy: If you believe you have one of the cribs manufactured from May through December 2012, please immediately contact DaVinci Baby either through the phone number below or their web site. If you have a recalled crib, DaVinci will send you free of charge a new mattress support and everything you will need to upgrade your crib and make it safer. Hazard: The blender’s stacked blade assembly poses a laceration risk if consumers pour or invert the pitcher after removing the lid while the loose stacked blade assembly is still inside the pitcher. The firm has received 53 reports of lacerations.
