Able to withstand heavy use and unanticipated elements, this umbrella has four fiberglass ribs that hold the canopy for added strength in windy environments. Designed to let the air flow through, the canopy has a vent at its top which promotes air flow, reducing stress to the umbrella. The canopy material is a marine grade fabric which will outlast any ordinary umbrella.
The one piece aluminum pole is available in a variety of options, including FiberTeak, a simulated wood pole finish. While all hardware is stainless steel, the hub, which is the primary element that raises and lowers the canopy, is made of solid wood for durability.
The 6 Foot Bridgewater Contract Patio Umbrella has all the features of a commercial grade product but will accommodate your home patio or pool area, with a variety of canopy colors and patterns available.
Caring for Sunbrella fabric is easy. Simply follow these steps for season after season of bright, durable fabric:
- Brush off any loose dirt
- Prepare a cleaning solution of 2 ounces (1/4 cup) mild soap per gallon of lukewarm water (less than 100°F/38°C)
- Use a sponge or a soft bristle brush to clean
- Allow cleaning solution to soak into fabric
- Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue
- Allow fabric to air dry
