Description

The A-America Mission Hills 6 Drawer Chest, with its fine craftsmanship and classic Mission detailing, is an attractive storage piece destined to become an heirloom. The mindi wood that makes up the solid construction of this stunning chest goes through a kiln-drying process to ensure the wood doesn't experience any warping, cracking, or splitting. Quality craftsmanship is reinforced through the 10-step finishing process that showcases the natural beauty of the wood grain, highlighted with the medium dark stain to add a lustrous glow. Built with English dovetail construction, the exposed mortise and tenon joinery and signature raised backsplash are all signature Mission design details complemented by the custom drop handle drawer pulls in hammered and oiled bronze. The top drawers of this chest are felt lined to protect your finest belongings, and each drawer boasts a full extension glide for easy opening and closing.

At A-America, Inc., it's all about the wood. A pioneer in the furniture industry, A-America, Inc. delivers solid quality and solid value in solid wood. This company was founded by brothers Fred and John Rohrbach in 1973 as Asia-America Co. They quickly expanded from importing ceramics to antique reproductions and nostalgic oak furniture. A-America, Inc. established itself as a leading provider of high-quality imported furniture. Buying furniture from A-America is making a responsible decision to help maintain a healthier planet. They use solid hardwoods and time-honored craftsmanship to build premium-quality furniture. A-America uses American hardwoods like alder, ash, oak, cherry, and hickory, which reproduce quickly. Currently nearly twice as much American hardwood grows each year than is harvested. The Asian hardwoods A-America uses include mahogany and New Zealand pine. These are plantation-grown, legally harvested, plus certified and controlled under the Lacey Act Standards.
