Q: Can the blinds be closed but "open" meaning pulled all the way down but be able to see out? The lack of pictures is deterring.

A: The Madera Falsa cordless blind can be mounted on the ceiling, also to operate the blind simply lift or lower bottom rail to raise or lower blind.
