We take your family's safety seriously. That's why all of our bunk beds come with a Bunkie board, slat pack, or metal grid support system. These provide complete mattress support and secure the mattress within the bunk bed frame. Please note: Bunk beds and loft beds should only be used by children 6 years of age or older.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission recommends that the tops of the guardrails must be no less than 5 inches above the top of the mattress. The CPSC also recommends that top bunks not be used for children under 6 years of age.
