A: Here is a picture taken this evening while I was babysitting grandchildren. I'm reclining in the chair we gave to our daughter. It reclines very nicely. Almost flat but any more and you might tip backward. Retains good position for back support. Very quiet chair. No squeaking. She loves it. I love it.JKMOliverio

A: It reclines back as far as a normal recliner. Not quite flat on back but close.

A: The fair has two reclining g positions and reclines completely. It is easy to recline and the chair is really comfortable. If you are using it in a upstairs bedroom it will take 2 people to carry it since it is quite heavy but very sturdy.
