A: The height from the top of the slats to the bottom of the headboard is 25-1/2".
Q: What size box spring and mattress height do you need so that the pillows don't fall under the headboard? Trying to prevent a gap.

A: The measurement fro, base to the lower lip of he headboard is approx 17.7 inches (gap measurement.)
Q: I see this bed requires a box spring and a mattress. In order to prevent pillows from falling in the gap between the headboard in the space below, how high should the box spring and mattress be?
