Q: how far away from structures should the fire pit be placed?
Submitted a year ago by Kim - Dublin, oh
Hayneedle customer support
A: Combustible material should not be within 72 inches of the top of the unit, or within 48 inches around the entire unit.
Q: Where does the hose exit the unit? I do not want the weight of pit resting on gas hose.
Submitted 3 years ago by Melissa - Arizona
Hayneedle customer support
A: The hose exits from the side and connects to the tank which can be concealed in the optional hideaway table.
Hayneedle customer support
A: The feet under the unit give space for the hose to come out. There would be no weight resting on the gas hose.
Q: If you by the tank hideaway table, it somehow has to connect to the fire table itself, right? So is there a rubber gas line going from the hideaway table to the fire table? That can be tripped on?
Submitted 3 years ago by Rustofferson - Chicago
Hayneedle customer support
A: Yes, if the regulator line is in a busy pathway there is a possibility of tripping over it but we have found that placement makes all the difference! You have the flexibility to run the regulator hose through any of the 4 sides of the unit. Usually, what we will recommend is to run the hose towards the furthest corner where there will be less traffic (preferably between the 2 seating areas) to have the tank hideaway placed in the corner and double as an end table. This would be the corner that people would be walking away from.
Q: How much fire glass is needed? How long is the included hose for natural gas option?
Submitted 3 years ago by Jenn - undisclosed
Hayneedle customer support
A: About 10lbs would work for this fire table and this item comes with a 10 ft hose.
Q: How many pounds of fire glass would need to be purchased for this table to replace lava rocks?
