Sure, our parents tell us that it's what inside that counts, but the outside of the Berkshire 6 Drawer Dresser – White certainly has to count for something, doesn't it? This wide chest has a body of composite wood that's covered with a durable white laminate that offsets the brushed nickel pulls and gently tapered legs. On the inside, this dresser offers six deep drawers, each with sides of solid hardwood that's received a lacquer finish. Metal guides let the drawers move smoothly and safety-stops make sure that each drawer, and the dresser, stay where they belong.
About Prepac Manufacturing
Prepac is a successful designer and manufacturer of functional and stylish RTA (ready to assemble) home furniture. They have been manufacturing state-of-the-art home furnishings and storage products in the heart of the forest-rich West Coast since 1979.
To ensure that customers receive the highest quality products, Prepac's design, engineering, production, testing and packaging are all performed in-house. Each component of every product is carefully engineered to be produced with minimal handling, without compromising quality, function and value. Prepac's state-of-the-art materials management system tracks every component from cutting through to packaged goods, inventory support, and fulfillment to final delivery.
Most of Prepac's RTA products are made from a combination of "engineered woods." Engineered Wood is a mixture of high quality hard and soft wood materials, which generally come from the surplus of original lumber processing. These materials are bonded together with a synthetic resin, in a process under high heat and pressure to make a very stable, environmentally friendly product. The result is dense, strong panels, which are then laminated with durable, attractive finishes.
We recommend that you simply wipe your units with a clean, damp cloth, and then dry immediately with another clean cloth to maximize the life span and appearance of your product. This product has a laminate finish, and should not be painted or varnished. If liquid is spilled and quickly wiped up, no damage will be done to your unit. However, continuous exposure to liquids or high humidity may cause damage to the board.
