About Walnut Wood: Walnut, also known as black walnut, is one of the most sought-after North American native hardwoods for high-end furniture construction. Heartwood colors range from a rich light brown to deep chocolate brown, often with a blonde or yellow cast and distinct curl, crotch or burl grain patterns. The grain can be slightly irregular with a medium to coarse texture and natural luster. Walnut is highly resistant to shock and decay.
