Q: Step by step how to put batteries in this beautiful clock I bought for someone else. Unscreweed 1 screw in base, but didn't see battery place. Had a heck of a time getting screw back in, worried I will scratch wood. My brother would have a fit. At this price, don't want to mess it up.

A: You need to turn the front cover from left to right to open the glass cover and then you can pull the clock out to replace the battery.
