The Birds Choice Recycled Jay Bird Feeder has a hinged roof that's easy to refill with in-the-shell nuts or seeds. This durable bird feeder is made of poly lumber and acrylic with a warm brown and green finish, and it will never fade, crack, or split. The large capacity holds over two quarts of bird food or nuts.
Birds Choice was founded in 1993 in Chilton, Wis. by Dan Bloedorn. What began as a project building bird houses in a storage shed quickly turned into a full-blown company building a range of handcrafted products for those who love birds and spending time outdoors. Birds Choice focuses on environmentally friendly practices, recycling all scrap poly-lumber (recycled milk jugs), wood, and cardboard they use. Most Birds Choice feeders and bird houses are still consciously made at a high-quality facility in Chilton.
