Q: I like this fountain but I am curious about the differences between the color descriptions of brick, natural and sandstone. How are these different? How is the color applied and is it subject to chipping or flaking over time if it has to be left outside but covered? Also what type of electrical outlet is needed, how long is the cord and where does it come out of the fountain?

A: The three colors: Natural (no colorant added) Sandstone and Brick are our integrally mixed color concrete are the basic choices in which we cast the products. This colored concrete maintains its color indefinitely. Natural weathering over time may change the look somewhat, however the surface can be cleaned to remove moss or other discoloration. If an item is chipped or damaged during its years in use- the concrete color is the same throughout, making the wear less noticeable. The finish options of Texture and Antique Washes are applied to the chosen concrete color. Also, the items cord is a standard 3 prong electrical outlet.
