Hand-crafted to Withstand the Test of Time
For over 140 years, Woodard craftsmen have designed and manufactured products loyal to the timeless art of quality furniture construction. Using the age-old art of hand-forming and the latest in high-tech manufacturing, Woodard remains committed to creating products that will provide years of enjoyment.

Superior Materials for Lasting Durability
Each piece in the Classics Collection is hand-formed using solid wrought iron stock: the heaviest available. The technique used to create Woodard wrought iron furniture has been handed down from generation to generation. To this day, expert workers use anvils and hammers to forge intricate detail in the iron.

In the Aluminum Collections, Woodard's trademark for excellence begins with a core of seamless, virgin aluminum: the heaviest, purest, and strongest available. The wall thickness of Woodard frames surpasses the industry's most rigid standards. Cast aluminum furniture is constructed using only the highest grade aluminum ingots, which are the purest and most resilient aluminum alloys available. These alloys strengthen the furniture and simultaneously render it malleable. The end result is a fusion of durability and beauty that places Woodard Aluminum furniture in a league of its own.

All Seasons Outdoor Wicker is the latest addition to the Woodard line of quality furniture. Each piece is constructed using cutting-edge synthetic fibers, hand-woven over an aluminum frame. With this combination of resilient, weather-resistant materials and Woodard's quality workmanship, All Seasons Wicker will retain its beauty and integrity for years.

Fabric, Finish, and Strap Features
All fabric, finish, and straps are manufactured and applied with the legendary Woodard standard of excellence. Each collection offers a variety of frame finishes that seal in quality while providing color choices to suit any taste. Current finishing processes are monitored for thickness, adhesion, color match, gloss, rust-resistance and, and proper curing. Fabrics go through extensive testing for durability and application, as well as proper pattern, weave, and wear.

Maintenance & Care

Outdoor Furniture Care and Maintenance

Table Tops
Clean your table top regularly with a soft cloth, mild detergent and warm water. While these tops are designed to remain outdoors all year round, do not clean surfaces using harsh solvents, scouring agents, or bleach.

How to Care for Outdoor Fabric

Q: Is outdoor fabric waterproof?
A: Because outdoor fabrics are designed to be breathable, they are water-repellent, but not completely waterproof. Over time, water repellency can be refreshed by using 303 High Tech Fabric Guard. (www.303products.com).

Q: How often do I need to thoroughly clean my outdoor fabric?
A: The best way to keep outdoor fabrics looking good is simply to clean them as needed. Rinse off dust, dirt, and spills as soon as they occur, and spot-clean any heavier soilings as soon as you detect them. Occasional rainfall will help keep your outdoor furniture clean. Removable cushion covers may be machine-washed in cold water with mild laundry soap and air-dried. For more stubborn stains, outdoor fabrics can be cleaned with a mild bleach solution.

Q: What about mildew?
A: Mildew will not grow on outdoor fabrics unless food, dirt, or other organic matter is present on the fabric. Keeping your outdoor fabrics clean is the best defense against mildew. Bleach solution and other mildew removers will not harm your outdoor fabrics, so removing mildew is easy if it becomes necessary.

Q: Can I put wet fabric in the dryer?
A: Outdoor fabrics do not absorb water and are designed to air-dry very quickly - usually within a matter of minutes. A clothes dryer is unnecessary and should be avoided, as this can overheat and shrink the fabric.

Q: Do Sunbrella furniture fabrics provide UV protection?
A: Sunbrella furniture fabrics are the only fabrics that have been tested and proven to provide up to 98% UV protection from the sun's harmful effects when used in shaded environments. Sunbrella furniture fabrics have been awarded the "Seal of Recommendation" by the Skin Cancer Foundation, an international organization dedicated to the prevention of skin cancer.

Caring for Stubborn Stains and/or Mildew
Outdoor fabrics do not promote mildew growth. However, mildew may grow on dirt and other foreign, organic substances that are not removed from the fabric.

To clean stubborn stains that don't come off with spot-cleaning, follow these easy steps:

  • Prepare a solution of 1 cup bleach and 1/4 cup of mild soap per gallon of clean water
  • Soak affected area in solution for 20 minutes
  • Remove stain with a sponge or clean towel
  • Rinse thoroughly
  • Air-dry

Re-treating Sunbrella Fabric
Sunbrella fabrics have a special finish that enhances water repellency. This finish is designed to last for several years of normal use, but can be refreshed anytime with 303 High Tech Fabric Guard, the preferred re-treatment product for Sunbrella fabrics.

303 products can be used effectively on other outdoor fabrics as well. For more information, please see www.303products.com.

Helpful Hints
Be sure to protect the area around your outdoor fabrics whenever you use a bleach solution, as bleach may discolor surfaces and non-outdoor fabrics. Always rinse your fabrics thoroughly to completely remove bleach and soap. Outdoor fabrics air-dry very quickly. Machine-drying is not necessary.

Frames
Clean your frames with mild detergent and warm water. Shake out any excess moisture after rinsing and allow to air dry thoroughly.

Cushions
During inclement weather, remember to remove any loose cushions from their frames and store them in a dry place. This not only holds true during the winter months, but also during spring and fall rain and wind storms.

Umbrellas
Keep umbrellas closed when not in use. Windstorms cause the most damage to umbrellas; by keeping them lowered, umbrellas will not become projectiles during wind gusts.

Fabrics
Designed for outdoor use, fabrics still require some care and maintenance because the sun can set chemical and food stains which may lead to fabric fading and discoloring. To help prevent discoloration, fabrics should be cleaned thoroughly after encountering tanning products, insect repellents, chlorine, and food spillage. It is recommended that all cushion and sling fabrics be washed with a sponge and mild soap and allowed to air dry.
