Q: We have black furniture. Is the espresso dark enough to blend with black or is the white able to be painted black?

A: Hello, it's not quite black but I think it's dark enough to look good withblack furniture. It's a very good quality set and is holding up well to mytwo grandson's. I chose it because we could refinish it if needed down theroad.

Q: Does an 8 1/2" x 11" stack of paper fit in the 11 x 9 cubby? This is a very important factor in our decision - my granddaughter is drawing all the time and if it doesn't fit, we will just get a table without the cubbies.
