This hand-carved solid mahogany desk is an authentic reproduction of the desk gifted to President Rutherford Hayes by Queen Victoria in 1880 that has been a fixture of the Oval Office ever since. Atop the table is a luxurious, tooled genuine antique brown leather top with gilded accents. Three hidden top drawers give you a place to store office supplies, and carved doors swing open to reveal two standard letter drawers and two file drawers. The official seal of the United States is carved into the front as a patriotic finishing touch.
