Solid pine construction pleases choosy parents who wish to avoid MDF, and this bed is available in your choice of finish to best coordinate with your child's room. It comes with a slat roll foundation, which supports a twin-sized mattress and allows airflow. There's no need for a bunkie board or box spring with this streamlined bed. The storage trundle option scores you two gliding underbed drawers. The storage drawers in the cappuccino finish include metal knobs. The light espresso finishe has no knobs, but a finger pull. Alternatively, you can add the optional trundle bed, which holds a standard twin mattress and pulls out when needed to accommodate an overnight guest.
