Starting with the birth of his son Sam in 1947, first-time parent Louis Shamie founded Delta Children's Products as a way to help provide other new families with high-quality essentials for them and their children. When his first grandchild was born in 1984, Mr. Shamie took his efforts one step further, and in a single day was able to receive a patent for a crib design that could be assembled without hooks, screws or tools. From that day forward, Louis dedicated his company to creating quality pieces of furniture that gave parents the safety the needed with the design and affordability that they deserved. Today, Delta Children's Products is led by Louis's sons, Sam and Joseph Shamie.
