Q: I assume this arbor does not come w/ stakes? What do you recommend using to keeping this grounded?

A: This item weights 51 pounds. It does not come with weights or stakes. Depending on how strong you need to secure the product. stakes, wired into place or even rebar if needed.

Q: The width on arbor shows 59" but under specifications it says 40" what is it. I need minimum of 50"

A: What a great question on a beautiful arbor! 40.5 inches is the inside width of the arbor. 59 inches is the total width including the top of the arbor.
