Oh the songs you'll hear and the tales you'll tell with the magical Heartwood Lord of the Wing Bird House on your land. Inspired by the Shire, this sweet bird house doesn’t seem to be constructed, but instead, conjured. A bark-like rustic exterior is captivatingly quaint. A shingled roof is dotted with inviting earth-tone colors and capped in copper. The dazzling door comes in a choice of brilliantly bright hues. Quality hand-craftsmanship and premium wood ensure years of hobbit-ual birding pleasure ahead. This bird house features a 1.5-inch hole, perfect for a variety of bird types.
The Heartwood team began their journey into the world of bees, birds, and boards over 20 years ago in the small town of Star, MS. Jerry and Larry Glass, brothers and fourth-generation residents of Star, began handcrafting their designs out of cypress and selling them at local art fairs. After exhibiting their bird houses and more at the annual International Gift and Home Furnishing Market in Atlanta, the team was launched into the national spotlight, making the Heartwood brand official and in high demand. With popularity generally comes expansion, and within a few years Heartwood's offerings included swings, Adirondack chairs, and lumber, with bee-keeping supplies following close behind. All designs are still handcrafted with passion at Heartwood's shop on Star's Main Street, using the same high-quality materials. The staff and suppliers are local and many serve as mentors for aspiring artisans.Shop All Heartwood
