Q: Stated that it would be large enough or would work for 125 ft hose, person on this question/answer stated it only was holding their 50 ft, if this is truly the case I will need to send back/return what is the policy on returns

A: I have a 75 ft. Heavy duty hose on mine and that pretty much fills it up.Best hose reel you can buy as far as I am concerned

A: We have successfully used this excellent reel for 2 years with the 100 ft light weight hose attached. Detach and store in the garage for winter.

A: I have been very satisfied. I have 100 ft. of 3/4 inch rubber hose on the reel. Yes, it's full but works fine. I personally would rather the reel be larger so that I could have 150 on the reel. Remember that this reel is advertised to hold 125' of 5/8" hose. So, larger diameter hoses will take up more room on the reel.It solidly made.

Q: What are the dimensions of the mounting area? I see it's 18" wide but how tall?

A: The holes are 16" apart from left to right and 8.5" apart from top to bottom.

Q: Is it possible to looosen the reel? It is very hard to crank and pull out the hose.

A: Yes the crank can be loosened slightly via the cap on the side that covers an adjustment screw.
