The Nesco American Harvest Snackmaster Square Dehydrator is an easy-to-use dehydrator for drying fruits, vegetables, herbs, and jerky.
Its square shape provides 41% more room for drying compared to round dehydrators. It also features a unique air-circulation system with a top-mounted fan and patented Converga-Flow Action, which pressurizes heated air downward through the outer ring and horizontally across each tray, converging at the center. This delivers both quick results and uniformity, so foods dry evenly, and there is no need to rotate the trays around while drying. It also eliminates the worry of liquids dripping into the heating chamber.
The dehydrator's 700-watt motor also helps ensure fast drying times for results in just hours versus days. A control knob adjusts the heat from 95 to 155 degrees F to accommodate appropriate drying temperatures for various foods, and printed guidelines on the motor housing help determine the correct thermostat setting.
Other features include a bale handle for removing the power head, dishwasher-safe parts, and a handy instruction manual. The dehydrator measures 14.5W x 14.5D x 9.63H inches and comes with a one-year limited warranty. It comes with four trays and is expandable with optional Add-A-Trays.
The Nesco Roaster first appeared on the scene in the early 1930s in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Nesco (the National Enamel and Stamping Company) was a well-known maker of pots and pans and other kitchen items, but the roaster was one of their first forays into electric appliances. History was made. The roaster quickly spread throughout Wisconsin farms and became an extremely popular accessory in rural kitchens. Now produced by the Metal Ware Corporation of Two Rivers, Wisconsin, the Nesco Roaster has entered our homes as one of the most versatile, dependable, and useful appliances we own. Nesco continues to produce their famous roaster, complete with new technological advances like convection air fans and non-stick coatings. There's nothing like an American classic.
