Q: Is there a way to get a measurement from the bottom of the top bunk to the top rail? Trying to make sure there is still some railing for support with our mattress.

Q: My daughter has a 10 inch mattress. How big a mattress for the top bunk so it doesn't flow past the rails?

A: The average size twin mattress is 10-14'' thick, so anything bigger than that is not recommended on the top bunk.
