POLYWOOD® lumber is made of high-density polyurethane plastic resin that has been purified and UV protected to resist chipping or fading over time. Each POLYWOOD® rocking chair is made right here in the USA in Syracuse, Indiana.

You can leave this rocking chair outdoors no matter the season and no matter the region because it doesn't splinter or crack and it's built tough to withstand snow filled winters, shining sun, and even coastal breezes. Even the hardware used in the assembly of this chair has been thoughtfully chosen. It's 18-8 commercial grade stainless steel with a Xylan® protective and cosmetic coating. Please note that despite the hardware's high levels of corrosive resistance, some signs of corrosion might appear in salt air environments. If you notice signs of corrosion on your chair's hardware, scrub it with soap, water, and a soft bristle brush before applying a protective layer of appliance touch-up paint.
