We can't promise to make your work minimal, but we can make your work space light and easy with the Riverside Avenue Laptop / Writing Desk with Optional Chair. A wide, spacious worktop invites you to spread projects out, plop your laptop on the center pullout tray, and tackle one task at a time without distractions - and the clean, open space below provides plenty of room for a little midday leg stretch, too.
This no-fuss desk is crafted from durable poplar hardwood solids and cherry and maple veneers matched and finished in a warm dark cherry. Each of the unit's three drawers are constructed with dovetail joinery and mounted on smooth, full-extension, ball-bearing guides. The center drawer boasts a drop-front face that allows you to use it as a laptop, keyboard, or mouse work surface, though you can use the drawer conventionally with the included removable, felt-lined pencil tray. Two electrical outlets and a wiring access hole are located in the back of the drawer to manage computer cord clutter.
The two outside drawers feature felt-lined bottoms to protect fine pens and other office supplies. Sliding panels situated above each drawer extend the desk's work surface - and conceal drawer contents. More wiring access holes are located in the left and right inside end panels, and built-in base levelers keep the entire unit in place.

Notes on Riverside Construction
All Riverside domestic furniture is constructed of fine oak, ash, poplar, and pine wood. These wood types are durable and feature beautiful, open grains that make them much preferred among furniture manufacturers. Each piece of wood is first graded for quality, then kiln-dried to remove excess moisture and prevent splitting. The wood is then constructed into a high-quality furniture piece using a combination of hardwood solids and hand-selected veneers. Techniques used on Riverside pieces include dovetail joinery, heavy-duty drawer roller guides, and multi-step finish applications that include hand-sanding and polishing for a deep, lustrous result. All Riverside furniture is given this high-quality treatment to ensure the beauty and durability of your final product.
