The nightstand is crafted of engineered wood with slide-on moldings.

A note about wood composite or engineered wood: Often referred to as "engineered wood," which stands for "medium-density fiberboard," this type of wood composite is made of compressed wood fibers and has several benefits, including affordability, consistency, and resistance to warping or rotting over time.

A: This is made from an environmentally friendly material called engineered wood. It's a combination of high-quality hard wood and soft wood residuals of other lumber processes. These components are bonded together with a synthetic resin and then applied to high heat and pressure. The result is a dense, strong panel that is laminated and cut into pieces.
