Q: Does it only hold certain size binders or does it have the capacity to hold different sizes (e.g. 1 inch to 5 inch binders)?

A: Each shelf is designed to hold over 100 lbs. and is positioned to accommodate letter-size binders and books. As long as the binders are letter size in height they should fit.
