It is simple in design and made from the highest quality materials. Setting it up is easy too! Simply stand up the two 64 inch hardwood bars, drive the anchor pin into the ground, adjust the rope to the right length and you're ready to hang any Mayan, Brazilian or Nicaraguan hammock. Q: Is it possible to use two of the Byer of Maine Madera Hammock Stands in order to create a Hammock Stand?

A: While it is physically possible to use two of these hammock stands, we do not recommend it since it is much safer to have one fixed anchor point for the other end of the hammock.
